Who are we

Our company, ITEM d.o.o., was established in 1992 after Slovenia became a state independent from Yugoslavia and after a new Slovenian Intellectual Property Office was established in 1991 and operated from 1992. ITEM d.o.o. is a patent & trademark agency registered with the Slovenian Intellectual Property Office and with regard to the number of handled cases is one of two largest patent & trademark law firms in Slovenia.

The founder of ITEM d.o.o. is Mr. Andrej Vojir, B. Sc. Electronics, patent attorney, with over 30 years of experience in the field of industrial property. He was a head of industrial property department in ISKRA, the largest Slovenian company for electronics, and also one of the founders of the Slovenian Intellectual Property Office.

Activities:
Patent, design and trademark applications, maintenance of rights, searches, legal counseling and litigation.

Territorial coverage:
Slovenia, International trademarks via Madrid Agreement and Protocol, Community trademarks and European patents. In cooperation with associates also Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia and Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro).
