Practice and professional experience

Since 1976 Andrej had been the head of industrial property law department at ISKRA, at that time the largest Slovenian electronics company. In 1991 he was one of the founders of the Slovenian Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) and worked there also as a Head examiner. In 1993 Andrej established ITEM which soon became the leading intellectual property law firm in Slovenia. He drafts and prosecutes patent applications for major Slovenian companies and research and academic institutions. With almost 50 years of experience in the field of industrial property, Andrej is considered one of most experienced patent attorneys in Slovenia.
